Maeva Masterson is the Manager Library Sector Services at Northern Territory Library. Maeva began her career in the Australian Army before making the jump to library services. With more than 15 years’ experience in working in both remote locations and internationally, Maeva is a results-focused library services professional providing strategic advice enabling Northern Territory Libraries to become sustainable leaders with a focus on best practice and innovation.

  • What does your library reflect?
  • What world view is expressed?
  • Does your library only reflect the standard Australian (or New Zealand or American) world view or does it have the capacity to reflect back to marginalised members of the community?
  • Does the space recognise that their world views and knowledge are just as important?
